I have been a member of the VFW since 2005; and served in the following positions:
I began my military career in January 1970; completed Basic Combat Training and Combat Engineer Advance Individual Training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO; and later attended Field Artillery Officer Candidate School (OCS) and received mycommission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Field Artillery. I retired from active military service as an Army field grade officer (Major) on January 31, 1990. During 20 years of active military service, I served in variety of positions and served overseas in Korea and Germany.
In August of 1990, I joined the Office of the Registrar at Marquette University as an Assistant Registrar; and retired from Marquette on January 30, 2015 as Senior Associate Registrar.
My wife, Kathleen (who is a retired Lieutenant Colonel – Army Nurse Corps) and I have resided in Wauwatosa since 1987. Wehave 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren
